A method of praying the Marian Psalter

We have developed a method for praying the Marian Psalter devotionally in a structured three-week cycle. This approach is highly recommended to foster a deeper love for Our Lady and to aid in contemplative prayer.

Each weekday focuses on one decade (10 Psalms), which can be divided into five Psalms in the morning and five in the evening. Saturdays, dedicated to Our Lady, and Sundays, the Lord’s Day, are set apart for special devotional and liturgical prayers.

Instructions:

  1. Begin each Psalm with a Hail Mary.

  2. Conclude each Psalm with a Glory Be.

  3. After completing a decade, conclude with a canticle of your choice (see options below) and/or a Marian antiphon appropriate for the liturgical season.
