Sacred Tradition Includes Scripture and Oral Tradition
Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle
Sacred Tradition is the Word of God
Therefore, we also give thanks to God without ceasing: because, that when you had received of us the word of the hearing of God, you received it not as the word of men, but (as it is indeed) the word of God, who worketh in you that have believed
Apostolic Tradition is Authoritative
And the things which thou hast heard of me by many witnesses, the same commend to faithful men, who shall be fit to teach others also
Now I praise you, brethren, that in all things you are mindful of me: and keep my ordinances as I have delivered them to you
And they were persevering in the doctrine of the apostles, and in the communication of the breaking of bread, and in prayers
St. John Imparted Doctrine That Was Not Written
Having more things to write unto you, I would not by paper and ink: for I hope that I shall be with you, and speak face to face: that your joy may be full
I had many things to write unto thee: but I would not by ink and pen write to thee But I hope speedily to see thee, and we will speak mouth to mouth. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Salute the friends by name
